In doing some research recently in order to create some filler for a newspaper supplement, I looked at marketing reports, research, surveys, and poll results to come up with editorial copy that would reach a specific audience.
What I came up with was this tagline, which seems to be well received by editors and other newspaper people:
“Your newspaper. The everyday reality show.”
In discussing this tagline with co-worker, Tony Ronzio (on Twitter @ronzio), he popped this tagline out of his head (without the benefit of caffeine, I might add).
“Reality. Delivered Daily.”
I’d love to hear from folks as to whether or not these taglines complement the purpose of a newspaper. You can post here on my blog, or send me a tweet: @specialdee
