Girl Geeks and Lewiston-Auburn Macintosh Users Group

May 2, 2009

Anyone living in central Maine is invited to attend the Lewiston-Auburn Macintosh Users Group. Visit the non-profit group’s site for updates. http://www.lamug.com

We discuss lots of topics that have to do with how people use their computers and the latest technology. Topics in the past have included software for graphics, text documents, databases, games, networks, wireless, etc. We have had industry speakers at our meetings who have demonstrated their products, such as the Wacom tablet.

We intend on discussing iPhones, iPods, wireless applications, browsers, and so much more. We want to hear from you about your computer needs: how can we help you?

We are branching out into different online venues so that more people can find us, and conversely, we can help more people.

So, please, feel free to check out LAMUG’s site, find us on the Internet (LinkedIn, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter), and attend our meetings. It is hoped that we will have podcasts and video archives of our meetings and demonstrations uploaded to our site in the future. Also, perhaps live chat such as CoverItLive and using a hashtag on Twitter during our meetings (#lamug).
